Project Coordinator (Agriculture)
Project Coordinator Job Scope – Fajar Saintifik Sdn Bhd
1. Attend Tender Briefings: Participate in discussions to gather project requirements and scope.
2. Attend Site Visits: Conduct on-site assessments to understand project needs and conditions.
3. Attend Project Kick-Off Meetings: Engage in initial project discussions to align all stakeholders and establish objectives.
4. Tender Preparation:
o Collect and review financial documentation involved
o Complete and submit tender documents.
o Compile relevant catalogs and product information.
o Verify pricing with suppliers.
o Prepare quotations for submission.
o Review and understand technical files for tender accuracy.
5. Prepare Project Bill of Quantities (BQ) and Resources: o Source specifications from tender documents, Elan, and Ilango.
6. Prepare Project Schedule/Timeline: o Develop detailed project timelines using Microsoft Project, based on tender specifications, Elan, and Ilango.
7. Liaise with Clients/End Users: o Confirm project specifications with clients.
o Coordinate vendor documentation and submissions.
o Submit invoices and Delivery Orders (DO).
8. Vendor Account Registration and Maintenance:
o Managed registrations and maintained vendor accounts such as Sennego, Tender2u, Kulim Berhad (ARIBA), Perbadanan Pertanian Perak, and UKM.
9. Prepare Project Progress Reports:
o Monitor and document project milestones and progress. 1
0. Prepare Meeting Minutes:
o Record and distribute meeting outcomes for project clarity and follow-up.
11. Prepare Project Submission Report Files:
o Compile and organize project drawings, user manuals, and hardware technical data for submission.
12. Liaise with Main Contractors (Third-Party Companies): o Request Purchase Orders (PO), document acknowledgments, Delivery Orders (DO), and invoices.
o Assist in the preparation of work contracts.
13. Involved in Purchasing Hardware for Projects:
o Coordinate with suppliers, shipment, and delivery agents for customs clearance.
o Update purchasing records to ensure timely procurement for project needs.
14. Plan and Prepare for Indoor Farming Production Training:
o Develop production workflows and identify required materials and tools. 15. Liaise with MARDI Consultant:
o Discuss indoor farming procedures, practices, and fertigation fertilizer requirements, including calculations.
16. Prepare Letters:
o Draft and submit letters for specification changes, project delays, authorization to enter site, and other official correspondence.
17. Prepare Quotations and Communicate with Clients:
o Prepare detailed quotations and send them to clients via email.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
