- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food service sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through effective networking and cold-calling
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations to pitch Rasa Kari's products and services
- Negotiate contract terms and close new business deals
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement targeted sales strategies
- Provide regular updates on pipeline activity and sales performance
- Identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to existing customers
- Degree qualification in a relevant field such as business, marketing or sales
- 2-3 years of proven experience in new business development, ideally within the food service industry specializing at sauce/ paste
- Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of success in winning new business
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
- Proactive and results-driven approach, with a keen eye for detail
- Two (2) tiers commission scheme including profit sharing program for new account development and new projects
