Description
- Manage the Right of Way (ROW) application process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely approvals.
- Oversee the Permit to Work (PTW) application and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate site access and construction activities.
- Handle the Development Order (DO) application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted to consultant for local authorities’ submission
- Liaise with various local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project execution, including but not limited to environmental, building, and operational permits.
- Ensure compliance with all permitting and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to gather required information and documentation for permit applications.
- Monitor and track the status of all permit applications and approvals, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Identify potential regulatory risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate delays in the permitting process.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Stay updated with changes in local regulations, policies, and procedures that may impact the project approvals.
- Support project management teams in resolving any permitting-related challenges that arise during project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in permitting, regulatory approvals, or project coordination within the renewable energy or construction industry
- Strong understanding of local authority processes and requirements related to ROW, PTW, and DO applications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with regulatory bodies and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
- Willingness to travel to project sites and local authorities as required
