Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective operation of IT systems, infrastructure, and security. Leads the IT team in implementing technology solutions to support organizational goals, manages software and hardware upgrades, enforces IT policies, and provides technical guidance. Works closely with departments to understand their IT needs, ensures data security, and optimizes system performance to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Support the IT Applications of our retail chain start-up, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT needs, ensuring efficient operations and seamless integration of technology.
- Support the implementation and roll-out of POS, ERP, loyalty, HRIS systems, ensuring its alignment with business requirements and operational efficiency.
- Project management, tracking, monitoring and status reporting to stakeholders. Defining deliverables, resources and workplans for projects. Ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues, resolving them in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
- Support the IT infrastructure of our retail chain start-up, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement.
- Lead the network roll-out, including planning, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure across retail locations.
- Manage various hardware equipment, including point-of-sale systems, security cameras, and other technology devices.
- Manage IT operations for the retailer and ensure SLAs with all service providers along with hardware.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, implementing necessary measures to protect sensitive information.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
Manage vendors and suppliers to ensure deliverables, cost effectiveness and timeliness of services/products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager, preferably in a retail environment or start-up setting.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in managing projects, operations, and vendors.
- Familiarity with Retail IT systems and infrastructure in their implementation and roll-out.
- Experience in Point of Sales (POS) and ERP systems like SAP and Navision/MS Dynamics is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Ability to adapt to an agile and flexible work environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working with retail-specific applications and technologies is highly desirable.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous, proactive, demonstrates ability to achieve results, excellent customer handling skills and teamwork.
