Key Responsibilities: 1. System and Network Management: - Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. - Ensure reliable data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place. 2. Hardware and Software Maintenance: - Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems. - Manage IT assets, including computers, printers, and manufacturing-related equipment. - Conduct regular system audits to ensure efficiency and compliance. 3. Cybersecurity and Compliance: - Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT. - Respond promptly to security breaches or vulnerabilities. 4. Technical Support: - Provide technical support and training to employees for IT-related issues. - Troubleshoot software and hardware problems in a timely manner. - Collaborate with external IT vendors or consultants when necessary. 5. Database and Software Management: - Maintain and manage company databases, ensuring data integrity and security. - Support the implementation and integration of manufacturing-related software. - Oversee updates and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance. 6. Innovation and Development: - Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency. - Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals. - Assist in automating processes and integrating IT solutions within manufacturing operations. 7. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. - Prepare and submit regular IT performance reports to management. *Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in IT roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity. - Strong knowledge of ERP, database management, and manufacturing software systems. - Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and software maintenance. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills for providing support and training to non-technical users. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
