Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and monitor logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods.
- Manage transportation schedules, routes, and carriers to optimize delivery times and costs.
- Establish and maintain relationship with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers to optimize logistics operations, negotiate contracts and resolve related issues.
- Track and report on the status of shipment, monitoring for delays and managing disruptions.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of logistics operations and implement improvements as needed.
- Monitor and control logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets effectively.
- Ensure all necessary documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance is completed accurately and promptly according to legal, regulatory and company standards.
- Promptly address and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists and export declarations (vessel booking, FORM D application, shipping document etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with production schedules and customer requirement.
- Evaluate logistics performance and suggest improvement to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and control logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets effectively
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance and transportation costs to senior management.
- Perform ad-hoc assignment upon request by superior.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business, Supply Chain, logistics or related.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain activities, preferably with a focus on international exports.
- Knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures and international shipping practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with analytical problem solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Able to execute multi tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Possess own transport.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
