Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Captain to lead our service team and ensure smooth operations on the dining floor. As a Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of servers, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, guest preferences, and service expectations.
  • Ensure all servers adhere to fine dining service standards and protocols.
  • Monitor the dining floor to anticipate guest needs and address issues promptly.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Train and mentor service staff, providing feedback and support to improve performance.
  • Assist in setting up the dining area, including table arrangements and décor.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining floor.
  • Prepare service reports and communicate feedback to management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Captain, Team Leader, or Senior Server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food, beverages, and fine dining service standards.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
