Teaching and Learning: 1. Contribute to the planning, teaching and learning standards in line with the expectations of elc, under the guidance of a Senior, Lead or Principal Teacher. 2. Assist Teachers in the creation of Schemes of Work and other materials for teaching and learning, under the guidance of a Senior, Lead or Principal Teacher. 3. Share in the planning and organisation of learning experiences for all students within a class setting and for the individual learning needs of each student. 4. Develop a range of appropriate teaching and assessment approaches to ensure that effective learning has taken place. 5. Develop a purposeful, positive and supportive teaching environment, sensitive to individual needs. 6. Make effective use of resources and learning technology to enhance the skills being taught. 7. Teach according to curriculum requirements, as required by your timetable, under the guidance of a Senior, Lead or Principal Teacher. 8. Take advantage of professional development, coaching and mentoring to enhance your teaching skills as provided by Senior, Lead and Principal Teachers. Classroom Management: 1. Take a shared responsibility for promoting excellent standards of student behaviour and conduct both within lessons and around school. 2. Fully utilise teaching time to support all learners. Student Welfare: 1. Actively engage with students on a daily basis to ensure their disciplined and appropriate behaviour at all times. 2. Observe student physical and emotional wellbeing, highlighting all concerns and observations to HoDiv/ HoKS. Administration: 1. Adhere to the rules and regulations in all current elc handbooks (e.g. Employee Handbook, Teaching and Learning Policy, Guidelines & Procedures, Child Protection Policy, Health & Safety, etc). 2. Ensure student filing, house point compilation, photocopying, certificate preparation and any administrational support is completed in a timely and accurate manner, as directed by the HoDiv/ HoKS. 3. Ensure all data entry of ECAs and student demographics is completed in a timely and accurate manner, as directed by the HoDiv/ HoKS. 4. Ensure the printing and photocopying of report cards is completed in a timely and accurate manner, as directed by the HoDiv/ HoKS. 5. Ensure the printing of Report Card envelopes is completed in a timely and accurate manner, as directed by the HoDiv/ HoKS. 6. Prepare invoices for dispatching, as directed by the HoDiv or HoKS, in the HoDiv’s absence. 7. Assist the HoDiv/ HoKS, in preparing the duty team roster for the Division. 8. Ensure there is an optimum utilisation of all class and School resources, highlighting discrepancies to the HoDiv/ HoKS. Professionalism: 1. Actively participate and contribute to school-wide initiatives and activities that span across departments or divisions, in order to help achieve their goals and ensure their success. 2. Consistently use respectful and professional language in all forms of communication (verbal, non-verbal, written, and electronic), fostering positive, productive, and constructive interactions within the school community. 3.
