Key Responsibilities:
Tender Management:
- Assist in completing and submitting tender forms and related documents.
- Extract information from product brochures and data sheets to provide accurate, compliant, and creative responses to tender requirements.
- Ensure all tender submissions meet the specified deadlines and criteria.
Supplier Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers to gather necessary information and updates.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain required documentation and certifications for tender submissions.
- Opportunity Monitoring:
- Regularly monitor government procurement websites for new tender opportunities relevant to the company.
- Track and report on tender announcements, deadlines, and changes in requirements.
Representation and Coordination:
- Attend tender briefings, site visits, and other related events on behalf of the company.
- Act as a liaison between the company, government agencies, and suppliers for tender-related matters.
Administrative Support:
- Draft letters, proposals, and official correspondence for communication with government agencies and suppliers.
- Maintain organized records of tender submissions, contracts, and communications.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
- Provide support for various administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management.
- Contribute to team projects or initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
Experience:
- At least 3 years of working experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in government procurement processes is an advantage.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with government procurement platforms (e.g., ePerolehan).
- Availability to travel for tender briefings or related tasks.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- Yearly bonus
