1. Stay focused on the resort’s Vision and ensuring all tasks carried out are in accordance to the resort’s established Mission Statement. 2. Maintain a proper and updated record keeping of individual associate personal file, including leave records, position movement, training record, performance appraisal as well as salary or allowance adjustment. 3. Verify monthly attendance record and preparing of monthly salary payout. 4. Well verse with the local labor laws and practices. 5. Initiate and conduct generic training program for relevant associate. Coordinate with all department heads in organizing departmental skills training. 6. Carry out recruitment activities, include interviewing, screening and shortlisting of candidates. 7. Conduct orientation and induction program for all new intakes. 8. Ensure all associates observe rules and regulations of the resort, including those stated for staff quarters and staff café. 9. Reprimand associate on misconduct with necessary action, including suspension of work, counseling, verbal or written warning, as well as initiating a domestic inquiry. 10. Update all department heads on performance appraisal deadline, as well as preparation of confirmation letter for all associates. 11. Coordinate closely with Executive Sous Chef in preparing of daily staff meals. Ensure no excessive food is prepared to minimize wastages. 12. Allocate staff dormitory effectively. 13. Ensure all staff facilities, eg : dormitory, washroom, café, are well maintained at all times. 14. Organize regular staff activities to encourage better teamwork and healthy lifestyle. 15. Maintain a professional rapport with relevant government agencies and authorities.
