Finance Data Analytic

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze data requirements for reporting and
• analytics.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration processes using tools such as
• Informatica and SQL.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data models (e.g., FSLDM, data marts) to
• support business analytics.
• Perform data analysis and visualization using tools like QlikSense, Microsoft Power BI,
• Python, and R.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of Cloudera Hadoop distribution and Teradata
• environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity across various
• databases (AS400 DB2, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
• Utilize JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
• Create and maintain documentation of data processes, models, and systems.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues as they arise.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and financial
• services.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, system analysis, or a related role.
• Proficiency in Cloudera Hadoop distribution (6.X), Teradata Inteliflex, and Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with the Informatica Data Integration suite and data visualization
• tools (QlikSense, Power BI).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and practices, particularly in finance analytics.
• Experience with Kafka and other data streaming technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

o Credit Risk Analytics

o Credit Scoring & Decision Support Systems

o Treasury & Wealth Management (Murex)

o Trade Finance & Accounts Receivable Management (FITAS, ARF)

o Retail Banking and Cards (Silver Lake)

o Data Modeling (FSLDM / Data Marts)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of finance analytics, including credit risk and decision support systems.
• Experience with additional technologies such as AS400, Experian PowerCurve, and SAS.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Bit Bucket) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM7,900.00 per month
