Commis / Kitchen Helper (Central Kitchen)
1. Works in the designated station as set by Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
2. Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
3. Able to prepare and sells food within recommended time frames to meet customer expectations.
4. Able to operate kitchen equipment and to produce a quality product in a timely
5. Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area.
6. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
7. Prepare all menu items by strictly following recipes and yield guide.
8. Slices, grind and cook meats and vegetables using a full range of cooking methods.
9. Wash and peel fresh fruits, vegetables and also able to weigh, measure and mix ingredients in correct proportions.
10. Set-up the station with par stocks of menu items, and prepare the dishes designated for that station.
11. As a Commis, you are also expected to comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
12. Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
