Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for managing the financial actions of the company which involves planning, taking significant decision relating to cash flow, investments, expenditure and financial strategies
- Direct and oversee the finance and accounts team to deliver strong financial activities for decision making
- Lead and drive fund raising activities and investor relations for the organization
- Provide leadership on strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefits analysis, forecasting needs and ensure decisions are commercially sound.
- Assist in formulating the organisation’s future direction and strategic initiatives by providing analytical, financial and commercial inputs and advice in planning stage and during execution and contracting process.
- Take hands-on lead position of developing and maintaining a comprehensive finance system including ERP, transaction processing and other business systems.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives as their business partner to understand their needs and provide business solutions.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation and reporting to ensure timely, accurate and meaningful management information.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller.
- 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
- Professional accounting designation e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA or other equivalent qualification.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
- Commercially savvy with strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM240,000.00 - RM300,000.00 per year
