  • Executing the opening and/or closing procedures to ensure the kitchen is ready for service.
  • Assist the chef lead in the daily ingredient ordering and ensuring that the ingredients received are up to standard and quantity.
  • Ensure the necessary mise en place is completed for a smooth service.
  • Consistent food preparation and maintaining the dish standards to build a consistent reputation. This includes serving the right dish to the right order.
  • Ensure the hygiene and maintenance of the kitchen as well as the related equipment especially since this is a show kitchen.
  • Stay in touch with the latest food trends or innovations and sharing them with colleagues and customers to effectively engage with them.
  • Participate in menu item ideation for seasonal promotions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher certification in culinary arts preferred.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations.
  • Able to work a 6 days week in a shift pattern.
