The Company
Our client is a global logistics company who focuses on airfreight, seafreight, customs brokerage, transportation, and distribution services. The company focuses on technology, service and people to provide end-to-end supply chain visibility.
Reporting to the Director of Global Account Management, the Regional Account Operations Manager will be part of the control tower team. You will manage client operations, ensure quality service, profitability, and regulatory compliance, and conduct reviews of budgets and contracts.
Job responsibilities:
- Leads, directs and manages operations to meet or exceed client standards.
- Maximizes profitability through effective communication, service, and follow-up on pending matters.
- Plans and monitors staffing schedules to support operational demands and business objectives.
- Trains, develops and motivates employees to perform at their best and grow in their knowledge and responsibilities.
- Manages revenue and expenses, department finances, including budget preparation and review, purchasing, financial reporting, and expense monitoring.
- Monitors and analyses on-time delivery and key performance indicators.
- Coordinates continuous improvement efforts internally and externally.
- Updates, coordinates and compliances to the SOPs by related APAC stations’ operations/customer service staff.
- Ensures billing accuracy.
- Manages forecasts, exception management, and external coordination with divisional leads and plants.
- Sets and adjusts pre-bookings with ocean carriers based on forecasts.
- Troubleshoots EDI issues and escalates problems to the product team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the logistics industry is required.
- Preferred vertical industry Automotive and Healthcare
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export arrangement is necessary.
- Experience in handling general cargo, particularly within the automotive and healthcare vertical markets.
- Experience in freight management both airfreight and seafreight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, and web-based and job-specific software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective communication with clients and internal personnel.
- Able to multi-task, objective driven and work under tight deadlines.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
