Brand Planner tasks and responsibilities will be:
Brand Strategy Development
- Create and implement brand strategies that enhance brand equity, increase market share, and achieve overall business goals.
- Identify and articulate brand positioning, messaging, and target audience insights to guide campaign direction.
Consumer Insights and Market Research
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand consumer preferences, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze data and translate insights into brand strategies and creative briefs.
Campaign Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Oversee the execution of brand initiatives across digital, social media, print, and other marketing channels, ensuring consistency and quality.
Creative Briefing and Collaboration
- Develop clear, insightful creative briefs to guide the creative team in producing on-brand content.
- Act as a liaison between the creative team and other departments to align on brand direction and execution.
Brand Performance Analysis
- Track, analyze, and report on brand performance metrics, such as brand awareness, sentiment, and loyalty.
- Utilize performance data to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
Competitive Analysis
- Monitor competitor brands, industry trends, and new market developments to inform brand planning and differentiate the company’s offerings.
- Identify opportunities for brand growth and innovation in the market.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, such as advertising agencies and media partners, to align on brand initiatives.
- Communicate brand strategy and positioning to stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in brand management or strategic planning, ideally within Marketing & Communications.
- Strong knowledge of brand development, positioning, and core marketing principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective presentation of brand strategies.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and across various departments.
- Comfortable presenting to clients and engaging with promoters (Client interactions in English; Promoter interactions in Malay).
- Own transportation is required.
- Preferably Non-Muslim, as role involves handling an alcohol brand.
Availability: Immediate start preferred
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Kota Kinabalu
