Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development
- Identifying potential clients and markets for Powertechnic products and project.
- Understanding the requirements and specifications of projects to provide the most suitable product or service.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop sales strategies that align with project objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, both existing and prospective.
- Understanding the client's business needs and project goals to offer tailored solutions.
- Communicating the progress of the sales process and addressing any client concerns or questions.
3. Proposal & Contract Management
- Preparing detailed proposals, presentations, and contracts that outline project details, pricing, and terms.
- Negotiating terms and conditions with clients to finalize agreements.
- Ensuring that all terms of the contract are clearly communicated and agreed upon.
4. Collaboration with Project Teams
- Working closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure the product or service being sold aligns with the project's requirements.
- Assisting in resolving any challenges that may arise during the execution of the project from a sales perspective.
5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market.
- Gathering insights into what other companies are offering to refine sales strategies.
6. Sales Reporting
- Tracking sales performance, including revenue generation, project milestones, and deadlines.
- Reporting to senior management about project sales targets, achievements, and challenges.
7. Product Knowledge & Technical Support
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services and understanding how they can be applied to specific projects.
- Assisting the client with technical questions or product-related challenges to facilitate the sale.
8. Post-Sale Support
- Ensuring that the transition from sales to project execution is smooth and that the client's expectations are met during project delivery.
- Staying involved with clients after the sale to ensure satisfaction and to facilitate future sales opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Sales Expertise: Strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Project Management Understanding: Knowledge of how projects are structured and the timelines involved.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present ideas and interact with both clients and project teams.
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and adaptability to resolve issues during the sales process.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific sector the projects belong to lifting equipment such as overhead crane, dock levelers, lifts, good hoist, table lifters and other pneumatic power mechanism, lifting chains / blocks and mechanical movements parts
Education and Experience
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in a sales role, especially within crane, lifting mechanism equipment and project-focused industries, is often preferred.
