Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure purchase orders (POs) are released on time to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor on-time delivery (OTD) by vendors and follow up proactively.
  • Maintain and organize all purchase-related records (e.g., pricing, product details) systematically in the system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on order acknowledgements, confirmed delivery dates, and update the system accordingly within expected timelines.
  • Enforce compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Address incoming discrepancies or quality issues when necessary.
  • Oversee confirmed import shipments and related duties.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin is crucial, as you will regularly interact with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, able to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
