- Identify and drive product innovation to materialize new product ideas and enhancement project of existing product. Define product required specifications and design to support country demands.
- Compile and manage all necessary product specification and data to develop specific product unique selling propositions (USP) to be ready for launch.
- Develop and implement all Marketing and Communication activities for both online e-commerce and offline activation including annual budget to drive brand awareness, market differentiation and clear positioning based on annual plan and within budget.
- Be a steward and brand guardian ensuring full compliance to Brand Guidelines for global and local brands.
- Develop new or adapt regional communication activities for full product launch in every new product
- Develop digital marketing activities including website updates & social media to drive consistent message in alignment with regional direction.
- Consolidate the database of product quality certification including obtaining certification data from manufacturer and compiling all local testing and certification qualifications.
- Develop and implement knowledge building training programs (training materials and sales tools) to ensure sales team are equipped to penetrate the market.
- Acquire and leverage competitive knowledge around the product categories and recommend strategies to leverage our strengths.
- Monitor and consolidate competitors profile and activities from different markets
- Develop strong relationship and work closely with other HODs to drive consistent and alignment in country
- Encourage and support /facilitate knowledge building, networking, cross functional and organizational exchange of information.
- Overall in-charge of the local entity management team and be responsible to all functions relevant to product and marketing responsibilities and deliverables to support the organization achieve business targets and development.
- Crafting strategies and initiatives for the team and the organization to help drive performance and strategic business objectives. Leads in developing direction, operational roadmap, and frameworks for execution.
- Responsible for managing periodic budgets and reporting requirements relevant to Marketing in support of sales performance, aligning with Finance and Sales divisions for organization-wide reporting templates.
- Oversee the entity’s A&P budget and accountability for productivity per spend to support sales and business objectives.
- Oversee product development, new product introduction, Go-to-Market strategies, channel opportunity development, and productivity initiatives supporting sales.
- Oversees market reach data build-up, maintenance, sales enabling tools, market / competition research, consumer/market behaviour and data quality.
- Responsible for Product category growth and development for the entity across different channels with accountability on ensuring fair pricing and gross margin target achievement.
- Directs and supports the entity in internal and external events as principal organizer in-charge for business and team development purposes.
