Operation Engineer (Cased Hole Services)

Job Overview:

As an Operations Engineer, you'll enhance operational efficiency by managing crew schedules, supporting recruitment, mentoring staff, and developing training plans. You'll track job records, ensure compliance, maintain offshore inventory, and prepare reports. Additionally, you'll provide technical support and foster strong client relationships through effective communication and regular visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare crew change schedules and identify access shortages to inform the Field Service Manager (FSM) for action.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and select candidates, reviewing resumes and organizing interviews alongside the FSM.
• Prepare interview feedback for the Operations Manager (OM) for review and approval.
• Mentor staff and oversee new employee onboarding, creating a yearly Training Plan in collaboration with the FSM.
• Facilitate ongoing training activities and conduct competency assessments for the operational and maintenance teams.
• Develop systems that enhance departmental efficiency, including tracking job records and managing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and timely updates to operational assets.
• Maintain an updated inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables, ensuring readiness for offshore operations.
• Provide technical and operational support to ongoing projects and facilitate urgent item movement to offshore locations.
• Share lessons learned and best practices in meetings to enhance operational speed, quality, and output.
• Conduct periodic audits on problem management and asset maintenance.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports related to operations and maintain oversight of equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with the OM to prepare comprehensive monthly operation reports, covering activities, achievements, and KPI tracking.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular visits and prompt responses to their requests.
• Ensure that any client-raised issues are communicated to the OM and Head of Department (HOD) for resolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Operation experience in Cased Hole Services and Offshore Operations
• Preferably with previous Operation Engineer experience
• Degree in any related Engineering field
