We are now hiring a Human Resource Manager to lead, manage and optimize the human resources function within the construction company. Purpose: As a Human Resource Executive, your primary purpose is to lead, manage and optimize the human resources function within the construction company. You play a strategic role in formulating and executing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, attracting, retaining, and developing talented individuals, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce and positive work culture. Your contributions are integral to the company's growth, employee development, and overall success of the organization. Accountability: You are accountable for the strategic planning, talent management, compliance, and leadership aspects of human resources within the construction company. Your role encompasses setting HR direction, driving organizational change, and ensuring HR practices align with the company's objectives. Expectations: Providing guidance and support in all HR functions. Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's construction projects and long-term goals. Oversee talent acquisition, ensuring the recruitment of skilled professionals who meet project requirements. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement and retention. Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Drive employee development and training programs to enhance skills and career advancement. Collaborate with the Management to align HR strategies with the company's overall strategy. Continuously assess and improve HR processes, policies, and procedures. Monitor and report on HR metrics and key performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Provide strategic direction for HR initiatives, aligning them with the company's construction projects and business objectives. Ensure the company complies with Malaysian labor laws, regulations, and industry standards in all HR practices. Implement employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote career growth. Responsible for and manage overall Human Resource functions such as payroll management, recruitment, compensation & benefits, industrial relations, training, and development, participation with manpower, planning, performance management, and employee relations. Review and developing Company Policy & Procedures Employee Handbook (HR Policies, Procedures, and Manual). Handle full set of recruitment process and to recruit the right talents within the hiring timeline. Review compensation and benefits packages and policies aligned with the Company's strategy. Prepare and generate HR Report and its related scope of activities report(s) in timely and accurate manner within depth analysis. Coordinate and administer Performance Appraisal, setting of KPI/KRA exercise as per timeline. Handle disciplinary issues, conduct domestic inquiry, staff counselling and other employee’s relation matters in compliance with local legislations. To ensure HR records are in proper filing and retrieval system for accurate files, records, reports, and confidential correspondences. To plan, coordinating, and organizing employee activities and events. Responsible for subordinates' performance. Handle and oversee all administration tasks. Any other ad hoc assignments assigned by the Management from time to time. Requirements: At least Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent. Required language(s): English, Bahasa and Mandarin. At least eight (8) years of work experiences in the same capacity, preferably in similar or related industry. Have good knowledge and experience in Malaysia Employment Law and Industrial Law. Demonstrated leadership skills, proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team together with the Management. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Fluent in using HR software like Infotech and Microsoft Office would be an added advantage. Benefits: Medical benefits.
