Key Responsibilities 1. Analyse daily stock data for raw materials and finished goods. 2. Collaborate and coordinate with sales, purchasing, production, QC, warehouse, and logistics teams. 3. Communicate with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. 4. Follow up with suppliers to expedite the delivery of delayed goods. 5. Continuously source for the best suppliers with fast delivery lead times and competitive prices. 6. Conduct regular price analysis to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions. 7. Analyse documentation such as COA, COO, quotations, packing lists, and shipping documents. 8. Plan purchasing activities for the next 3, 6, and 12 months and execute them efficiently. 9. Support the finance manager in managing cost-saving activities. Job requirements: 1. Strong analytical skills, particularly in stock and price analysis. 2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams. 3. Ability to work collaboratively across various departments such as sales, purchasing, and logistics. 4. Detail-oriented with the ability to review and analyse complex documentation. 5. Good time management skills with the ability to plan and execute purchasing activities over several months. 6. Proactive in sourcing suppliers and ensuring fast lead times. 7. Experience in managing cost-saving initiatives and working with finance teams. 8. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in managing supplier delays and supply chain issues.
