Finance Manager

Job Purpose As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in our System Integrator company by overseeing all financial aspects of the business. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and process maps together with the CFO, while also managing the Company’s financial health, driving financial planning and analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with the CFO to make the financial decisions that support our growth and success in the Technology industry. Job Description Financial Planning and Analysis - Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. - Analyse the financial data, trends, and performance to provide insights and improvement recommendations. - Monitor key financial metrics identify the key cost drivers and report on the Company’s financial health. - Develop and maintain the chart of accounts and cost centers with the ability to identify the key cost items effectively and from a management accounting perspective. Financial Management - Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow, accounts payable, account receivables, and fixed assets. - Oversee the preparation of financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and notes to account. - Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and tax laws. - Manage and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial service providers. Financial Policies and Process Maps - Work closely with the CFO to design, develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and process maps - Continuously improve and update financial policies and process maps to align with industry best practices and regulatory changes. Risk Management - Design, develop, and implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets. - Perform due diligence to assess the potential new customer's financial and background check. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor the team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles. Reporting - Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the C-suite and Board of Directors. - Communicate financial performance and strategies to various stakeholders. - Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide financial inputs. Education and Experience The candidate for the finance manager should have:- - minimum Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. - CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus. - Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a startup or technology-driven or engineering environment. - Previous experience designing and implementing financial policies and process maps is desirable. Skills and Abilities The candidate for the finance manager should have the following skills: - Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. - Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws. - Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. - Problem-solving ability and proactive mindset. - Adaptability to a dynamic startup environment and changing priorities. - Proficiency in financial software and tools, including PowerBi, Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
