The Job
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Intern to support our CEO Office in business development, finance, and operations. This role offers exposure to strategic business operations, providing opportunities to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. You will gain hands-on experience in market research, business growth strategies, and financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development (BD):
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging business opportunities, industry trends, and potential strategic partnerships to drive growth.
- Business Proposals and Presentations: Assist in the preparation and delivery of business proposals, presentations, and client pitches, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market positioning.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends to contribute valuable insights for decision-making.
Finance:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights, helping to drive informed decision-making.
- Loan/Grant Application Support: Assist in compiling and reviewing documentation for loan or grant applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
General Responsibilities:
- Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking detailed meeting minutes, and ensuring action items are clearly tracked and followed up on.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose innovative solutions to streamline processes, improve productivity, and enhance overall business operations.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide ad hoc assistance across different departments within the CEO Office, including project coordination and administrative support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or related field. Prior experience or coursework in business development, corporate planning, or financial analysis is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Suite (Google Sheets for data analysis and modeling, Google Slides for presentations, Google Docs for documentation). Skilled in conducting market research using various tools and resources.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and ensure accuracy in reports and analyses.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear reports, proposals, and presentations. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a cross-functional team.
- Organizational & Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proactive, self-motivated, and deadline-oriented. Capable of maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
