Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide insightful financial reports and recommendations to management
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions
- Cash and working capital management, including preparation of cash flow forecast, treasury and banking/financing arrangement;
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agent for all necessary tax returns and statutory reports
- Liaison with bankers, company secretary, tax authority, government departments and other relevant parties
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Other Duties:
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of financial management experience
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, regulatory issues, and tax planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Independent with strong analytical and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge on ERP system will be an added advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
