Job Responsibilities

The Client Partner Manager (East Coast) for Astro Media Solutions will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team that works hard and fast to grow and maintain strong relationships with direct clients and media agencies and influence buy-in. As an integral part of the Sales team, this role will be primary responsible for for prospecting, establishing, fostering relationships, and executing campaigns across the client or agency based at east coast which covers Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang to drive advertising sales revenue. Other responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue generation and growth from assigned clients or agencies through proactive hunting and relationship building.
  • Client Relationship: Develop an understanding of each client’s business landscape and serve as the primary contact and escalation point for clients, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience throughout the campaign execution process. Develop an understanding of each client’s business landscape, including their financial performance, brands, and challenges to provide solutions that align with clients’ business objectives.
  • Propose Integrated Advertising Solutions: Proactively solicit campaign briefs from clients and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to understand, propose, and pitch integrated advertising solutions across television, radio, digital, social media, and influencer marketing across Astro’s universe.
  • Campaign Management: Collaborate with various internal to execute campaigns proficiently across Astro’s ecosystem of TV, radio, digital, and on-ground activation.
  • Advertising Budgets: Collaborate with clients to understand their advertising budgets and ensure effective monitoring and utilisation of allocated funds.
  • Competitor Analysis: Understand competitor offerings and industry needs to reinforce Astro’s position as the ideal advertising partner for clients.
  • Case Studies: Stay well-versed in case studies and best practices from successful campaigns and leverage this knowledge to engage and intrigue clients and prospects.
  • Post Campaign Analysis: Analyse post-campaign performance and provide strategic insights to clients to ensure continuous partnership.
  • Sales Pipeline and Reporting: Diligently manage sales pipeline and reporting to ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Trade & Targeted Client Engagement Events: Represent Astro Media Solutions at trade events and client events to effectively communicate Astro’s capabilities, credentials, and business updates to reinforce Astro’s position as the ideal advertising partner for clients.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Goal Setting: Set clear performance goals and objectives for team members, ensuring alignment with overall company targets.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure high performance.
  • Motivation and Engagement: Foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and a strong sense of ownership among team members.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/Diploma holders in Business/Commerce/Communications or in any relevant field
  • Preferably more than 8 years working experience in customer sales/ service environment and managerial roles.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages is an added advantage
  • Resourceful, self-motivated with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Able to travel regularly to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with team members across different locations.
