Job Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Executive at Gamuda Engineering, you will be key in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our engineering projects. With 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, you will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, manage the full recruitment cycle, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about recruitment, understands the construction and engineering industries well, and is eager to contribute to building a strong, capable workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and screen potential candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and other channels.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback to candidates in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future recruitment needs, focusing on both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Support campus recruitment initiatives and participate in career fairs and industry events to promote Gamuda Engineering as an employer of choice.
  • Provide regular recruitment status updates and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Conduct HR induction programmes weekly.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience recruiting for technical roles in construction, civil engineering, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices and an understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interest in talent development and employee engagement initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
