ROLE PURPOSE The HR Manager is responsible in managing and handling full HR spectrum function including Strategic planning and business information responsibilities, develop the team ensuring succession planning, people development, training compliance and a fair and just culture, resource for business growth projects, and ensuring compliance with legal and Company requirements across all areas of the business. Main Accountabilities •Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with managers, employees, and other relevant stakeholders of the business. •Lead, develop and motivate the HR team to deliver excellent quality and service to our business partners. •Remain up to date and compliant with relevant workplace legislation and other industrial instruments i.e., Employment Act. •Manage the recruitment process in an effective and timely manner to ensure the needs of the business are met in an ever-changing, fast paced environment. •Work closely with the training department to ensure compliance with company requirements as well as responsibility to deliver HR related training. •Provide advice and guidance to the leadership team and employees with regards to Human Resources policies and procedures. •Assist with HR enquiries and ensure resolution of workplace grievances for both the leadership team and employees. •Actively participate in disciplinary and performance management processes and any other HR function necessary for the region to ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation. •Manage the EA renewal process and interpret industrial agreements and other instruments for the leadership team and employees. •Ensure accurate recording and reporting of HR statistics monthly. •Administrative duties as required. •Ensure timely preparation and distribution of documents i.e., employment contracts, termination documents, any other relevant employee letters, and position descriptions. •Manage sensitive information with confidentiality. QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE •With a minimum of diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent. •Minimum of 10 years’ experience within an HR department •Experience of recruitment best practice with the capability to initiate change and process improvement. •Relevant management qualification/degree preferably with an HR specialisation. •A positive and flexible approach. •Strong organisational and time management skills. •Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. •Capable of delivering information with a high level of detail and accuracy. •Able to use initiative and work independently in a busy environment, multi discipline environment. •Manage sensitive and confidential information. •Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office. •A leader with the ability to drive solutions, including efficiency and cost control within a complex business. •Confident in influencing business managers. •Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time. •Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. •Effective and efficient leadership skills
