  • Payroll clerks collect, verify and process payroll information and compute pay and benefit entitlements for employees within a department, company or other establishment.
  • maintaining records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems;
  • preparing and verifying statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and.NET salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans;
  • preparing employee payments and benefit payments by cheque or electronic transfer;
  • reviewing time sheets, work charts, wage computation and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies;
  • verifying attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments, and posting information into designated records.
  • Candidate must possess a minimum of a diploma, bachelor degree in business / human resource or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience (payroll) is required
  • Independent, team player, detailed oriented and good analytical skill and possess high level of work commitment
  • Have good amount of knowledge in latest employment act
  • Proficient with microsoft word & excel
  • Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Maintain and update all employee’s attendance, leave, claim and medical records.
  • Handle all employee’s payroll inclusive of statutory bodies payment, yearly EA and etc. Ensure payroll accuracy and comply to Malaysia’s regulations.
  • Provide administrative support and initiate in various HR initiatives and project implementation related to HR.
  • Maintain employee confidential details and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepare monthly report and perform insightful analysis.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by company when necessary.
  • Excellent hands-on skills with eye for details
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and responsible character.
  • Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service.
  • Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
  • Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.
