Business Development Manager – Hydrogen, Ammonia, Carbon Capture.
Location: KL, Malaysia plus regional travel
Focus Area - Hydrogen, Ammonia and Carbon Capture.
Position Purpose
As the Business Development Manager you will play a key role in expanding our service portfolio across the SE Asia. You will focus on driving growth, while also identifying opportunities hydrogen, carbon capture and ammonia projects. Your main objective will be to develop new business relationships, manage client portfolios, and promote our technical services to key players in the renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and engage with potential clients in the hydrogen, carbon capture and ammonia sectors.
- Lead business expansion initiatives with a strong emphasis on hydrogen, carbon capture and ammonia projects.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share and revenue streams within SE Asia.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, EPC companies, and government authorities.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored service solutions.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor industry trends, government policies, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy space.
- Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for continuous business development.
- Proposal Development & Negotiation:
- Lead the preparation of business proposals, tender submissions, and presentations.
- Negotiate terms and close contracts for service agreements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, technical services, and finance to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support the integration of new services into the existing business portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 3 years in hydrogen, carbon capture and ammonia
- Proven track record of success, with a strong network.
